About Pack 70
Our Pack is comprised of boys and girls and their adult partners from the Black Forest community and 
several of the elementary schools in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pack 70 is chartered by Black Forest Community Club in Colorado Springs. Boys and girls are eligible to join our pack at any time starting in Kindergarten. Cub Scout Pack 70 is part of District 20 and the Pikes Peak Council of the Boys Scouts of America. We participate in numerous activities throughout the year including Pack camping trips, Pinewood Derby races, Rocket Day, and several other fun-filled events. But more importantly, Cub Scout Pack 70 contributes to our local community through several community service projects, the cornerstone being the annual Scouting For Food drive.

It’s about the kids! The focus of our Pack is our scouts. Our message is simple. In the words of scouting founder Sir Robert Baden-Powell, “The real way to get happiness is by giving out happiness to other people. Try and leave this world a little better than you found it.” We do this by focusing on the Cub Scout Promise values of God, Country, Others and Self.
We strive to show scouts and their families things that they would not typically see, teach children and their families things that they would not normally learn, and do things as a group that children and their families may not find time to do!
